Our vision at Inclusion Melbourne is to provide people with intellectual disability the opportunity to live in an inclusive community environment – where everyone has the same opportunities to participate in community life and to take their place in society as respected citizens.
Our role, as a disability services and support provider, is to encourage and enable people to achieve and maintain a valued quality of life. We achieve this by supporting people to create highly individualised and flexible lifestyles based on their needs and desires.
We are currently supporting over 60 adults with intellectual disabilities living across 12 Melbourne municipalities mainly within Melbourne’s inner south east. All of our service users take part in personalised recreational, educational or employment activities of their choice in the community.
We encourage people to participate in activities and develop relationships with people within their local community, not ours. Inclusion Melbourne measures success by someone no longer needing our service as they now live a life solely supported by people that care about them.
